Website Maintenance
A website is only as good as it's content. How many times have
you gone to a website to find outdated information? Now just imagine
that is your site. Inquiries, leads, and even sales can be lost
due to lack of information or outdated material.
Set some time aside each week to update your website, even if you
update just one paragraph of one page. Adding content can be cumbersome
if you attempt to do it all at once. The words don't always flow
smoothly for this creative content either. Take the small bit approach,
do a little each week. Soon you will have plenty of updated content
for your users.
Ensure that when you make changes you set aside the time to test
the changes. Formatting, spelling, grammar are the simple things
to check. But don't forget WEB things like, HTML ALT Tags, Images,
Image size, Image alt tags, title tags, correct hyperlinks.
