Field - Our feld is
located on Litchfield St. Just down from the Leominster Eagles on
the Left.
Practice - Football practices are
scheduled by the head coach, and are held at the field on litchfield
st. Before labor day practices are 10 hours per week. After Labor
Day practices are 6 ours per week. Practices do not include water
breaks (as stated in the pop warner rulebook) and as such could
run as late as 2 1/2 hours per night. LPW provides each team with
12 water bottles for refreshing the body during practice, please
do not bring your own water, Gatorade or soda on the field during
any organized practice or game.

Equipment - Most football equipment
is issued to each player at the beginning of the season. The following
equipment will be issued by LPW.
- Football helmet (including ear pads and soft chin strap)
- Shoulder pads
- Practice pants
- Pads for the pants (2 thigh and 2 knee)
- Girdle
- Girdle pads (2 hip and 1 tail bone)
- Black game jersey
- Game pants (generally yellow)
- Mouthpiece

Football players must provide the following:
Please check with your head coach before purchasing anything other
than cleats and jersey.
- Practice jersey or shirt
- Football Cleats (no spikes or detachable cleats permitted, the
only cleats permitted are of the "molded" type as specified
in the Pop Warner rule book found here)
- Black socks (check with your coach before purchasing)
- Specialty items or pads such as
- Arm or elbow pads
- Neck braces or rolls
- Rib protection
- Hand warmers
- Receiver gloves
- Hard cup chin straps (for sale in the concession stand)

Games - Games are held
every weekend beginning in late august, and including Labor Day
weekend. The schedule will not be announced until after 8/15 of
every year. The schedule is never set in stone due to the many teams
in the Central Mass
League and the requirements for some teams pertaining to the
use of their fields. Games are either on Saturday or Sunday, and
could also be on Friday night, although not generally.

Minimum Plays - Playing
time is a key ingrediant in the success of the Pop Warner program,
and Leominster helps facilitate that program. The mandatory plays
specified by pop warner at the national level are show in the rulebook.
However, if Central Mass chooses, they can make the rule more stringent,
but not less!
